Active shooter violence is on the rise, particularly in workplaces. According to OSHA’s General Duty Clause, Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (applicable to all business in the United States), employers must provide their employees with a workplace that is “free from recognized hazards that are causing or are likely to cause death or serious harm.” Courts have interpreted this provision as a legal obligation for all businesses, and this has led to significant legal action and awards for damages against businesses from victims of workplace violence. The costs associated with these actions run into the millions of dollars.
It is vital for businesses to safeguard against future damages, both physical and financial. Our team of experienced professionals is here to help do just that, for you.
What began as an idea at the Mistry Family Office is now a successful company driven by two simple, important goals:

“There are numerous ways this class educated me on what to do should an active shooter become part of our environment. For me, the defense portion was perhaps the most needed and educating piece of the class. I immensely enjoyed this class!!!!”
“Loved every minute of the training!! Working in an office with all woman, we do not see ourselves as Warriors, but after the training we were ready to take on the world. Not only did we gain knowledge on how to handle an Active Shooter situation we also gained the confidence that it would take to make a difference in such a situation. Looking forward to our future training with Chad and his team at Active Victim.”
“This was an eye-opener for us. Simple things can make a huge difference. Loved the program and every bit of it. A program well taken.”
